Visual Identity

My goal was to embrace the scrappiness of the modern female reader - far grown up from the brand's younger sister, Gurl.com.

I approached the visual language with a feeling of authenticity, composing a palette of minimal bright colors and hand-painted marks. This fine art aesthetic quickly became the foundation for the new look and feel.
